Hello London! Hello Brighton!

Napsal(a)

I have to greet these two cities as we were welcomed by them very warmly. We set off to our trip on Saturday the 18th June and during our journey we were for 2 days in London and 1 day in Brighton, visiting also the cliffs known as Seven Sisters.

We really spent in London 2 great days , there is so much to see and do! Of course you can visit the official websites of London https://visitlondon.com to read and see the main sights. We were at the Tower Bridge, saw the city from the  height of the London Eye or travelled by the Emirates Air Line cable car above the river Thames, admired an amazing view from Greenwich to Londonś skyscrapers. In our program there was  „Museum Quarter“ in South Kensington (part of London) and there we had some free time to go through Natural History Museum or Science Museum – I succeed only at the Science Museum with exhibitions of airplanes, plane engines of Rolls Royce, space rockets or landing module of Soyuz, there were also 3 flight simulators for exceptional experiences, 2 of them rotating 360 degrees. Around the museums there were cafés, restaurants to refresh tired visitors, musicians playing in the street – very pleasant atmosphere!

The students liked most Brighton – a city at the coast. The views from the tower British Airways i360 (around 152 m high) were really worth to experience. And the pier with enterteining activities as well.

Our second day in London was special – strike in the underground! So we had to use the doubledecker buses or DLR (Docklands Light Railway) and mainly walk. Thanks to this we could see much more of London.

To our surprise we walked around 15 km a day – without measuring we would never guess it was so much!

Simply a great trip!
